Every October I try to spend the month catching up on new and classic horror movies and books. I reread my Lovecraft, and indulge in classic Universal monster movies. Luckily, thanks to Flying Frog Productions, I can keep the creepy atmosphere going while gaming.
For you Zombie lovers out there, Flying Frog's first game was Last Night On Earth: The Zombie Game. The game pits small town heroes against hordes of zombies, and players can choose which team they most identify with. The board is modular, so there are lots of scenarios to play, keeping the game interesting for many many replays.
A Touch of Evil: The Supernatural Game can be played either competitively or cooperatively. In this game, set at the dawn of the 19th century, players have come to the village of Shadowbrook to investigate a series of terrible murders. There are 4 different supernatural villains, each having its own set of minions and powers to give the game lots of replayability.
Flying Frog Productions goes all out to make players feel like they are in a movie. Each game comes with a soundtrack of original music to provide atmosphere, and card art is reminiscent of photographic movie stills.
A thematic, spooky game is just the way to get your Halloween evening off to a good start.
