Fridays moment of ice cream zen

An amazing day at Lofty Pursuits

It's the first day, and it's amazing. Rickeys, egg creams, everything is flying off the shelf. Thank you everyone. We'll be open until 11, and we'll stay open until everyone is helped. Thank you Tallahassee for understanding what we are trying to do.

Game Night this Friday and every Saturday!

For years we've had game night starting at 6pm on the 4th Friday of every month at Lofty Pursuits. If you have not picked up on it, that means game night is this Friday. With our ice cream shop open, we now have even more and nicer tables to let people enjoy playing board and card games. But this is not news.
The news is that the local gaming group has moved their Saturday weekly meetings to Lofty Pursuits. Every Saturday from open to close come in, bring a game, find a game from our collection, or buy and game and sit down and enjoy a nice place to play and have fun.
It's always fun here, and where else can you get a pot of gourmet tea and a world class sundae to enjoy while you play.
Enjoyment for your mind and body. It's fun to work at Lofty Pursuits.

Morning Zen, the Ice Cream Robot.

October Games

Every October I try to spend the month catching up on new and classic horror movies and books. I reread my Lovecraft, and indulge in classic Universal monster movies. Luckily, thanks to Flying Frog Productions, I can keep the creepy atmosphere going while gaming.
For you Zombie lovers out there, Flying Frog's first game was Last Night On Earth: The Zombie Game. The game pits small town heroes against hordes of zombies, and players can choose which team they most identify with. The board is modular, so there are lots of scenarios to play, keeping the game interesting for many many replays.
A Touch of Evil: The Supernatural Game can be played either competitively or cooperatively. In this game, set at the dawn of the 19th century, players have come to the village of Shadowbrook to investigate a series of terrible murders. There are 4 different supernatural villains, each having its own set of minions and powers to give the game lots of replayability.
Flying Frog Productions goes all out to make players feel like they are in a movie. Each game comes with a soundtrack of original music to provide atmosphere, and card art is reminiscent of photographic movie stills.
A thematic, spooky game is just the way to get your Halloween evening off to a good start.
Happy Gaming,
